Meet the management team
Farid Naib
Chief Executive Officer
Farid Naib joined Lightspeed Financials’ Board of Directors (now Professional Trading Solutions) in September 2012 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2014. Previously, he founded FNX Limited, a leading provider of global over-the-counter trading technology to the world’s largest financial institutions. FNX was acquired by GL Trade (now part of SunGard) in 2007. Mr. Naib also has served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as a board member of GAIN Capital, and is an operating partner at LLR. Mr. Naib has over 30 years of experience in the financial technology industry as an entrepreneur, investor, and manager.
Thomas Gibb
Co-President & Chief Operating Officer
Thomas Gibb was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2018 and as Co-President in 2015. Mr. Gibb joined the Company in 2006 and throughout his tenure has held various roles including Trading Operations Manager, Director of Client Service, EVP of Brokerage Operations. Mr. Gibb has over 15 years of experience in the brokerage industry.
Kevin Ott
Co-President & Chief Strategy Officer
Kevin Ott was appointed Chief Strategy Officer in 2018 and as Co-President in 2015. Mr. Ott joined the Company in 2010, following the acquisition of Terra Nova Financial where he had served as Managing Director. Mr. Ott has over 20 years of experience and is a technologically sophisticated leader with keen insight into systems operation, front- and back-end operations, sales, product, and project management within the financial services industry.
Keith Petzold
Chief Compliance Officer
Keith Petzold joined Lightspeed in 2005 and serves as Chief Compliance Officer. Before joining the Company, Mr. Petzold held a variety of senior roles in the compliance units of Schonfeld Securities and HD Brous & Company. Mr. Petzold has over 20 years of experience in the brokerage industry.
